History

Aspen House used to be farm cottages belonging to a large nearby mansion, now demolished. It is said by some older local people that the grounds contained kennels for dogs for the hunt. It was used as private residencies until in 1982 when it was converted to a nursing home, and extended. It was converted to flats in 2001, and has enjoyed high occupancy since.
